Course Overview:

• You will study part time for approximately 3.5 years on the Level 7 Accounting and Taxation Professional Apprenticeship programme working towards a qualification in ACCA, CIMA, ACA or CTA.
• On successful completion of the apprenticeship you will be eligible to apply for membership of one or more of the UK Professional Bodies such as ACCA, CIMA, ACA or CIOT.

On-the-job Overview:

Based in the Finance, Accounting and Tax Departments, working alongside an experienced team, you will have the opportunity to develop and become an Accountant and/or Tax Specialist. This role will include:

• Financial accounting
• Management accounting
• Tax
• Accounts payable
• Customer billing
• Systems analysis and understanding

Qualifications/Skills:

• Minimum of 5 GCSE’s at Level 4 or above (Grade C or above) with GSCE Maths and English at minimum Level 6 (Grade B) or above
• Three A Levels at grade C or above (one of which must be in a numerical or business-related subject, e.g. Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics, Business Studies or Accounting) or equivalent qualification
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable and flexible
• Ideally experience using MS Office package i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Organised
• Willingness to learn
