Job Description
Administration Assistant
22.5 hours per week
£21,000 (pro-rata for 3 days = £12,600) per annum
North Notts Business Improvement District (BID) is the UK’s first ever area-wide, place shaping BID. It is the largest BID in the UK by geography and the second largest by number of levy payers.
North Notts BID Ltd commenced trading on 1 September 2017 when businesses with a rateable value of
£12k and above voted in favour of developing a business improvement district for North Nottinghamshire.
Following a second successful ballot in June 2022, North Notts BID commenced it’s second five-year term on 1st September 2022.
The BIDs three key themes are:

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the North Notts BID team in delivering our ambitious business plan.
We are looking for a team member who is passionate about supporting our BID members, promoting our area and the benefits that the BID can bring.
As well as being part of a team you will be able to work on your own initiative and with a variety of local and national businesses, public stakeholders, and commercial contractors.
The purpose of the role is to provide effective administrative support to the BID team. Activities will be varied, and you will need to be comfortable in a job where every day can be different.
Most importantly we need a team player who is happy to pitch-in with whatever needs doing – but at the same time is a self-starter who can work off their own initiative.
Duties and Responsibilities
As part of this role you will be required to assist the BID team with the administration of a wide range of
BID projects and activities:
Day, What Next careers events and Christmas light switch-on events.

The above is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities and the post holder will need to be adaptive to support with a range of day-to-day tasks that is the norm within a small business.
