Due to growth within the business, we have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join our busy Private Client department on a permanent basis, in our Milton Keynes office. Flexible working hours may be available for the right applicant.
The Role
The LLP would be interested in hearing from applicants who have worked ideally in a legal environment, although this is not a pre-requisite, and should be used to dealing with a busy and varied workload, with an ability to remain calm under pressure. The ideal candidate will be supporting both of our Associate Partners within the Private Client Team. The position would suit someone who is approachable, flexible, confident, accurate and has an eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities
· Taking initial enquiries from clients and booking in appointments via Outlook.
· Opening and closing files through the Office Management System.
· Completing the fee earner dictation.
· Administration tasks such as scanning, photocopying, filing and storage of legal documents.
· Receiving and issuing correspondence/mail from/to the client and third parties.
· Checking and working in accordance with task list and diary reminders.
· Time recording all work undertaken.
· Reporting to, receiving and acting upon instruction from the Partners within the Team.
Required Skills and Experience:
· Strong Administration experience
· Flexibility in support of other members of staff
· Ability to work in a team environment, work in a friendly professional environment
· Presentable with excellent telephone manner
· Ability to work to deadlines, show flexibility and prioritise workloads in a calm and consistent manner
