Aluminium TIG Welder

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, plus overtime

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £33,280-£41,600 per annum depending on experience, with additional overtime

Location: Rugby, CV21 1TN

Our client, PWR Advanced Cooling Technology, is looking for Aluminium TIG Welders to join their growing manufacturing facility, with career progression opportunities available.

As Aluminium TIG Welder, you will be competent in welding heat exchangers, radiators, intercoolers, oil coolers and other complex components of an aerospace or motorsport nature.

You will take pride in the quality of your workmanship, be confident in decision-making, be able to work autonomously, and have a strong work ethic.

Person specification:

• Experience with precision aluminium welding
• Experience in welding 1.2mm-3mm aluminium is desirable
• Able to weld fine grade aluminium to a high structural and visual standard
• Able to read and interpret detailed 2D drawings
• Good understanding of jig and fixture utilisation to achieve final part accuracy
• Strong fabrication and hand tool skills
• Able to work to strict deadlines with high accuracy and attention to detail
• The ability to remain calm and focused in a high-pressure environment
• Experience welding heat exchangers for the motorsport or aerospace industries is highly regarded.
