Animal Nursing Assistant/Trainee

Would you like to work in a veterinary practice assisting the vets and nurses in their jobs? Tysul vets is looking for a trainee-Animal Nurse Assistant to join our team. You will be involved in caring for our small animal patients alongside a friendly team of nurses. The day to day role will include:-

• Assisting the nurses in their kennel duties
• Supporting Nurses and vets in their wider duties.
• Animal handling
• Cleaning kennels & kits
• General cleaning and deep cleaning of rooms/equipment.
• Re-stocking and preparing rooms for consultations and operations.

We are looking for a friendly and caring team player, who not only likes working with others but who can work independently. A keen eye for detail is essential. The ability to adapt and be flexible under pressure is important. Experience with animals and animal handling would be an advantage, though full training will be given.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £5.30-£10.50 per hour
