PET-Xi Training has a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Assessors to join our mission to empower our learners in Sheffield!

Some of the courses that we run include:

• Customer Service level 2+
• Business and Management level 3+
• IT level 3+
• Digital skills including social media and marketing level 3+
• Cyber Security level 3+
• Health and Social care level 3+

This position offers a flexible work arrangement, depending on caseload and associate availability.

The ideal candidate will hold an assessor’s qualification preferably coupled with the relevant subject specialism, hold a recognised teaching or assessment qualification (details below) and have experience of tutoring adult learners. In addition, we are seeking applicants who can also undertake IQA duties too.

• Assessor Award CAVA or TAQA Level 3, A1, D32/33 or equivalent
• Teaching Qualification, PTLLS or equivalent

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Deliver the agreed programme in accordance with the lesson plan
• Primarily delivering vocational qualifications in the tutor role, but assessing where required
• Work with learners one-to-one as required via catch-up sessions where required
• Ensure that every completing learner has an evidential Folder of Evidence ready and marked for moderation where appropriate
• Provide supervision, guidance, and training to any other staff on the course
• Ensure good housekeeping at the programme venue/online and compliance with local health and safety requirements or PET-Xi remote delivery guidelines and rules
• Read and act on IQA reports
• Read and act accordingly to learner profiles as necessary
• Attend meetings as necessary in accordance with job requirements and company needs
• Participate in Training and Development as required
• To be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of any children, young people and vulnerable adults the post holder may come into contact with during your employment at PET-Xi Training Limited.
