Architectural CAD Technician

Hybrid/Flexible working, will consider part time

Kingsley are currently working with a highly successful, growing, multi-disciplinary practice in Lancashire. My client is looking to appoint an Architectural CAD Technician to join a team of experienced Architects.

The company

An established, busy multi-disciplinary consultancy providing Architectural, Surveying and Health and Safety services to a range of clients within the public and private sectors.

The role

You will have the opportunity to work across a range of sectors including residential, education, commercial, health, leisure and industrial.

The person

We are looking for someone who has experience of traditional construction methods. Experience of steel frame would be advantageous but not essential.

• Professional institution affiliation CIAT or similar – preferable
• Min 1 years post qualification/graduation architectural experience
• Contributing to the detailed design process and co-ordinating detailed design information
• Strong CAD ability
• Excellent working knowledge of Building Regulations

Duties will include:

• AutoCAD drawing and detailing through the construction work stages (concept – detailed design)
• Production and organisation of Architectural design and information, working to a stipulated drawing standard and maintaining controlled document management
• Production of architectural schedules / specifications & data sheets Site survey and response to site technical queries
