Salary £29,000 per annum

Rodda’s is a much loved, growing Cornish brand, our products are available nationally in major supermarkets, convenience stores, foodservice outlets, on air lies and we export internationally.

Rodda’s is the ‘go to’ brand and market leader in clotted cream and we also produce bottled milk, double cream and butter, all made with Cornish milk from farms within a 30 mile radius of our Creamery in Scorrier, Redruth, Cornwall. Requirements

You will either be an experienced Shift Manager or have had a team leadership role where you have demonstrated that you are willing to accept responsibility and lead by example at all times. Shift Leader is a demanding role, managing 40+ people as well as managing processes to ensure that we deliver top quality premium products to our customers and maintain a great workplace culture.

Shift Managers are measured and held accountable for people and productivity results, as well as safety and compliance in their area.

Responsibilities:

• lead and manage the team, effectively dealing with all people and performance issues
• create a positive work culture, leading by example, to ensure that company rules are upheld
• manage workflow of Packing/Production, ensuring correct operational, H&S and food safety procedures
• maintain a constant focus on food safety and quality
• pro- active management of stock, labour, equipment and wastage streams
• ensure accurate recording on ERP system for traceability

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £29,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
• Thursday, Friday, Saturday and every other Wednesday
• 40 hours per week averaged over two weeks

Supplemental pay types:

• Performance bonus

• Scorrier, TR16 5BU: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
