Location: Hybrid - mainly remote with some in-person work sessions in London.
The role
Fusebox is looking for an Artist to bring knowledge and experience of Character Design to develop our existing and future IP, looking at competitors to discover new styles which connect with our players.
You will have excellent attention to detail, constantly creating and evolving as an artist to produce artwork to the highest level. Pushing the boundaries to discover new design choices for characters, create various styles, you will be highly competent in 2D character creation with strong foundation skills in human anatomy, gesture and form.
Working closely with the Art Director and key stakeholders, you will conceptualise their vision by concepting and sketching, being open minded to revisions and feedback. By inspiring and challenging what works and what can be improved, you will produce creative solutions, research and development.
You will have a strong work ethic demonstrated through raising your profile and setting a standard of excellence for others to benchmark their art. Your outstanding portfolio demonstrates a wide range of character art experience. This is an exciting opportunity for impact as we create new stories and experiences.
