The Job
The Assistant Accountant is a varied role that presents the opportunity to join a dynamic team within a person focused organisation. The key role components would include:
- Assisting with the production of the monthly management accounts
- Variance analysis
- Financial analysis – trends, costs, margins, overheads etc.
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
- Assisting with month-end close – accruals, journals, prepayments etc
- Travelling to various sites across England
- Adhoc duties
Candidate Person
We are keen to engage with individuals that have at least 2 years experience working within finance. This role would suit an ambitious individual who would like to take on the remit of the management accounts and has a clear ambition to become a charactered accountant
On Offer
The role of Assistant Accountant will offer a starting salary of £32,000 - £38,000 per annum with a competitive benefits package. The office is near the Edinburgh city centre.
