Assistant General Manager

We are on the lookout for a superstar Assistant General Manager to come and rock our Blame Gloria team. Our aim is to build a team that delivers exceptional experiences seven days a week, including an experience-led bottomless brunch, special occasions and late night partying in the heart of Covent Garden.

Gloria always threw the wildest parties.

She had the best legs in Soho. Some say she dated Hendrix. She taught Bowie how to do his make-up. She ran out of dosh she moved into the basement.

She still throws the best parties and she needs a team to support her to give the best experience during brunch (Mamma Mia, Grease, Drag Brunch... you name it!) and all night long till we got energy to dance!

The Role...

Assistant General Managers are the go-to within their teams, they are responsible for guiding the team through the good and tough days (hopefully not too many tough days but this is hospitality!) Taking responsibilities that will enable them to one day become General Managers in their own Store!

• Overseeing daily operation
• Confident running busy shifts, dealing with bookings and overseeing the whole venue
• Strong stocktake and stock reporting knowledge
• Creating rotas for the whole team
• Strong knowledge of licensing, risk assessment, health and safety
• Ensuring the company culture with strong teamwork
• Comply with the Adventure bar policies and procedures and ensure team deliver them
• Build relationships with all employees and use these to guide and motivate them towards delivering unforgettable experiences
• Supporting the General manager in delivering the Adventure bar experience
• Accept that the priorities of the business can change with little to no notice and maintain a flexible yet consistent and positive attitude regardless of the situation
• Other duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to £30,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus scheme
