You will be working at The Woodmill, a mental health service for women requiring rehabilitation to support them getting back into the community, where conditions may include personality disorders, Autism and associated challenges.

Reporting to a Registered Psychologist, you will join the psychology team where you will be guided and supervised as you assist with assessments, formulations and treatments to people within a group and 1-1 setting.

As a Psychologist Assistant, you will assist in clinically related administration, conduct of audits, collection of statistics, development of audit and/or research projects, teaching and project work.

Your responsibilities

• To hold a caseload of clinical work, including carrying out individual psychological interventions
• Undertake collaborative risk assessment and management for individual service users and provide general advice
• Carry out these duties in consultation with the Registered Psychologist and identified supervisor, and contribute to the maintenance and development of a high-quality psychological service

To be successful in this role, you'll need

• Experience of working within a Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit/Acute Mental Health Setting
• 2:1 Psychology degree
• To meet professional practice expectations and the BPS code of ethics
• A BPS accredited recognised degree in Psychology conferring Graduate Basis for Registration (GBR)
