Do you have a degree in Forensic Science or equivalent experience in an area relevant to forensic science, case work experience for presenting evidence to the courts?
Do you have experience of working within the Crime Scene Investigation using laboratory analytical skills related research informed teaching, especially in areas such as preservation, extraction, interpretation and presentation of the traces, gathering photographic evidence or physical samples from the scene, such as weapons, fingerprints, clothing or biological evidence?
Does your research involve analysing samples, such as hair, body fluids, glass, paint and drugs and/or medical forensics?
A brand-new opportunity has arisen for an Associate Lecturer in Forensic Science to be involved in developing and delivering an innovative and flexible range of learning and teaching materials related to Crime Scene Investigation.
You should have competency in a range of relevant laboratory and practical skills including integrating knowledge and skills in the examination, analysis, interpretation, reporting, and testimonial support of physical evidence that are linked to Forensic Science related research and teaching. As well as knowledge within the subject area of crime scene investigations and understanding the interplay amongst different laboratory analytics and forensic investigations.
