Aviation Security Agent

Premier Work Support are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity working as Aviation Security Agents at Gatwick Airport.

There are flexible shift patterns, 4 on 4 off or 6 on 2 off. The hours are currently 17:30 - 21:30. There is also weekend flexibility.

Key Responsibilities and duties:

• As a Security Agent you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of an international airline, this will be to safeguard and ensure all security measures are being followed in line with CAA Regulations.
• Performing a range of security-based duties in different areas such as Cargo Handling, Baggage Handling, Check In Desks as well as any other area required.
• You will be performing body searches, baggage searches, aircraft guarding, document checking and access control.
• You will also be profiling passengers coming through the airport.

In order to comply with strict aviation security regulations, due to the nature of this role we will be undertaking a full five-year education/employment reference history and apply for a basic DBS, criminal record check before starting this position. Any applicants with non-UK based references will require the appropriate DBS check and translation of documents, and any gaps in employment must be accounted for.

As this role consists of security in line with CCA regulations, all Security Agents will need a CTC - Counter Terrorist Check, due to this you must have lived in the UK for a minimum of 3 years.
