As a Bright Horizons at Home Back-Up Nanny, you’ll be part of the UK’s leading back-up childcare team, with thousands of families relying on our support.

When their regular childcare arrangements fall through, parents and carers turn to us for help. Last year alone Nannies delivered over 450,000 hours of care.

What you’ll be doing

• Providing care for children on an ad-hoc basis - with clients requesting care either on a daily basis or for weeks at a time
• Working with children across a variety of age ranges in educational play and delivering a range of activities to support their individual development
• Supervising the children throughout the day, ensuring their safety and wellbeing are paramount
• Promoting and implementing our Bright Horizons policies and procedures at all times

What we’re looking for

• Authentic childcare professionals with the ability to care for children of all ages
• Professional experience of two years or more working with children as a Nanny, Childminder, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant or similar
• Exceptional communication skills at all levels
• Thorough understanding of child protection and the safeguarding of children
• Flexible and dynamic approach with the ability to work with a variety of families
