Bakery Operative (Night shift)

We deliver around 1.3million loaves, every day of the week throughout the UK and Ireland, where we also make Mothers Pride and Ormo products.

We are 2,800 people working within 8 bakeries, 1 flour mill, and 2 regional distribution centres across the UK. We have a fantastic opportunity for a Bakey Operative to join us at our Mitcham Bakery to enable Hovis to deliver on its vision of being the best quality brand in bakery.

ROLE PURPOSE:

To contribute to an efficient, customer-focused, manufacturing process through the effective operation of plant, equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Operating the plant and process in a safe and compliant manner.
• Completing documentation accurately and promptly.
• Following instructions and procedures correctly.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness in their immediate work area by adopting “Clean as You Go” philosophy.
• Supporting the delivery of the site’s KPI’s for Safety, Quality, Service and Cost.
• Being accountable for the production of high quality products that are safe.

Shift Pattern: Night Shift - 18:00 - 06:00
