We are seeking Bank Community Support Workers to join our Adult services throughout Greater Manchester including Stockport, Manchester and Bolton to enable individuals with complex learning disabilities, and an autism spectrum condition, to lead an independent life having due regard to their health, aspirations and social needs within their home and local community.
Working Pattern – This role is casual and therefore there are no set hours. When a service needs additional resource, they call upon the Bank Community Support Workers to support the rota. This role involves shift working which includes evenings, weekends and sleep-in shifts worked on a rota basis. An enhanced payment is paid for weekend hours of +25% hourly rate and the sleep-in rate per night is £87.50.
Salary - £10.91 per hour.

What can you bring to the service...?
We are looking for Bank Community Support Workers who have the ability and resilience to work with behaviour, which may challenge, in a caring and consistent manner, including the maintenance of appropriate boundaries for behaviour.
The Bank Community Support Workers will be expected to support individuals within the community, which may include general outings, or appointments which they are due to attend.
Do you have the ability to work individually on shift using your own initiative and as part of a team, maintaining & encouraging, open and honest communication?
Can you undertake the full range of tasks, in a well-planned way that respects & values the individuals?
