SEN Teaching Assistant – Bank Work

£70 - £75 daily rate

Flexible days | 8:30am - 3:30pm | Term time only

Masterclass Education are currently working with a chain of schools across the area who are looking for Bank Teaching Assistants to join their teams to support children with Special Educational Needs.

Successful applicants will be supporting students who have varying degrees of Autism, Speech & Language needs, and Behavioural challenges on a one-to-one, or small group, basis.

We are looking to take on bank Teaching Assistants to take on flexible shifts depending on where the need is within various schools. Your role may vary but you will be supporting children with SEN to ensure they stay focused and motivated while learning.

The school are looking for individuals who have experience supporting children and young people and/or individuals who have additional needs. The school will consider applications from individuals with the following backgrounds:

• Care Background
• Camp America
• NCS Programme
• Sports Coaching
• Activities Instructor
• Residential Support

Must have:

• Experience supporting children, young people, or vulnerable individuals
• Excellent behaviour management
• High attention to detail and able to provide a high standard of support
• A DBS on the Update Service - or willing to obtain one
• Commitment to safeguarding children and young people
