Joyfuel Ltd is a small food and drink business in Falmouth. We are inclusive, creative, collaborative and customer-centric. We provide fabulous food, coffee and cakes alongside a carefully curated provisions shop and a fantastic bar, serving beers wines and cocktails. We operate as the Pendra Loweth Cafe Bar & Shop. A big part of our business is event based dining, organising planing and developing dining experiences throughout the summer and beyond. Both in house and working alongside pop up events.

We are searching for a creative Bar-person who can use their creative and boozy expertise to support the Bar Manager/owner in serving and creating beers guest lists, wines guest lists and cocktail specials for our bar menu, takeaway and dining experiences. The successful candidate will also be a coffee lover, with some experience in serving espresso based drinks. The job requires a responsible, diligent, professional, responsible for managing inventory and preparing and serving drinks and food orders, with confidence and a big ol smile.

Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with the owners to develop menu ideas
• Prepare and serve beautiful drinks to order in the restaurant cafe and bar
• Keep the shop products well stocked and looking fresh
• Cover shifts or certain hours independently
• Manage and adhere to the health and hygiene procedures of the business
• Maintain the stock, preparation and ordering for the bar while on shift
• Communicate with accuracy and plan meticulously for the smooth running of the bar, working closely with the bar manager/owner.

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15-25 per week

Salary: From £11.00 per hour
