Job Title: Beer Server

Location: That Beer Place, Foregate Street, Chester CH1 1HB

We're looking for a passionate and motivated Beer Server to join our team at That Beer Place. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter who is physically fit (as we lift a lot of kegs and crates) and willing to learn about all things beer and cider.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process sales with accuracy and speed
• Engage warmly with all customers and provide excellent service
• Be knowledgeable about all product categories, styles and flavour profiles
• Ensure that stock is optimally prepared for sale
• Maintain a clean and presentable environment at all times
• Run educational, informative and entertaining beer and cider tastings
• Eventually be able to pair drinks with meals

Requirements:

• Passion for beer and cider
• Flexibility and willingness to learn
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work alone and as part of a team
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Physically fit to handle kegs and crates
• 1-2 years retail or customer service experience is desirable
• Beer training via Cicerone will be provided
• Cider training via The Beer and Cider Academy will also be provided

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 25 per week

Salary: £10.42-£12.00 per hour
