Biomedical Scientist - Practitioner/ Healthcare Scientist (EO)

We are seeking a Healthcare Scientist , with a scientific background to join the Public Health Laboratory Birmingham to work as part of the laboratory team, providing a high-quality microbiology service to provide patients with the highest level of diagnosis and treatment.

The post holder will assist in the efficient day-to-day running of an area in a section of the laboratory, be able to rotate through all the different sections in the laboratory and assist in the supervision and training of trainee BMSs or HSSWs.

It is essential that all candidates hold a BSc in Biomedical Science or equivalent academic achievement ratified by the IBMS.
