Title: Brake Press Setter / Brake Press Operator

Our client, specialists in engineering and fabrication based in Kingsbury Link Tamworth, urgently requires a Brake Press Setter/Operator. Possible permanent opportunity following a successful trial period. This role involves working as part of our production team to deliver high quality components, mainly for the rail industries, with a right first time philosophy. The candidate must have previous experience working with Amada brake presses. The successful candidate will have to demonstrate that they can produce components from drawing / planning route cards to the highest quality, and within the routed time. Showing a proactive and innovative approach to supporting the team, thrive on problem solving and have a natural desire to contribute to continuous improvement within the team. Must be able to interpret technical drawings and use hand held inspection equipment such as height gauges and vernier calipers.

Our client offers:

• Monday to Friday
• 7AM-4PM Monday to Thursday 7AM-12PM Friday
• £12.00-£14.00 per hour depending on experience
