Zero Gravity Internship

The Zero Gravity Internship is back. After the success and energy of the launch of our summer internship programme last summer, Zero Gravity has got you covered for your summer 2023 internship needs. This year, we’re offering 6 internship roles across the different teams at Zero Gravity, as we scale our impact to propel 20,000+ students into top unis and careers each year by 2025.

The Details

• The internship will run for 4 weeks from 10th July - 11th August 2023.
• You will join us at Zero Gravity HQ in Central London, where you will be working full time with the Zero Gravity Team.
• You will be working directly with the Brand Team to tell Zero Gravity’s story to the world and grow our audience, whilst also working with the wider Zero Gravity team for cross business exposure.
• We’ll provide you with free accommodation for your time in London, and the internship, and the internship will be fully paid. You’ll receive compensation of £265 per week for your work with Zero Gravity this summer, which we’ll pay on a weekly basis.

What is Brand and Marketing?

Brand and marketing involves defining a brand’s story and sharing it with the world through creative content production and marketing strategies. Our brand team at Zero Gravity is responsible for defining who we are and keeping our members at the forefront of everything we do. We create content that captures the hearts and minds of our members, powering us to spread our mission across the country. Each team member brings a different skillset to the table, from business strategy to social media. Together, we create bold work that cuts through a saturated marketing landscape.

The Role

• We are looking for a Brand Intern who is interested in pursuing a career in Brand, Marketing, Content or Social Media.
• You will be fully integrated into the Brand Team and get exposure to lots of different roles and tasks, including:
  • Brand strategy and member experience
  • Content planning and production
  • Copywriting and design
  • Social media management

You could get involved in the following tasks:

• Write copy for captions, website pages and visual assets
• Participate in planning content campaigns across the business
• Produce content for our channels e.g. TikTok videos, IG story takeovers
• Develop an understanding of the value we can bring to members
• Research user trends and ideate future membership concepts
• Track socials performance and basic data reporting

Eligibility Criteria

• You must be a Zero Gravity member signed up as a mentor on the platform.
• You must be a student in your first, penultimate or final year at university in the UK.
• Have a strong interest in pursuing a career in Brand or Marketing, with an interest in learning about design, social media, and communications at a startup. Please note you don’t need to have any prior experience in these areas, but strong interest is a must.

Central London office - You'll work out of our beautiful Zero Gravity HQ in St Pauls full time for 4 weeks.

Central London accommodation - We’ll put you up for 4 weeks in Central London whilst you are working at Zero Gravity HQ.

Zero Gravity social - You'll be invited to our team social, where we take our team out for dinner/drinks, completely on the house!
