Business Apprentice

Are you looking for an apprenticeship in an ever-changing environment with plenty of perks? We are recruiting for an Apprentice for a leading Nationwide Electrical Wholesaler operating from their Flagship Birmingham location. Edmundson Electrical are a nationwide business with over 370 locations supplying goods to the electrical industry.

The role will require a hard-working, likeable, and motivated individual to grow within the business, working within an experienced team to gain a relevant qualification to further their career. You will not only learn about customer service and the how the trade operates, but also you’ll get exposed to all elements of the business. Part of this role will be working within a small team supporting one of our major accounts, where using spreadsheets and other Microsoft programs will be vital to the job.

Desired Skills:

• Confidence in speaking to a variety of people.
• Able to follow procedures.
• Accurate and efficient.
• Good telephone manner.
• Willingness to learn.
• Good Maths and English skills.
• Confidence in Microsoft Office.

Desired Background:

• GCSE A*-C in both English and Maths.
• Previous work experience in a busy customer facing environment.

Monday – Friday: 45hrs per week

Significantly exceeds National Minimum Wage.

Future Prospects:

Excellent scope for progression for the right person upon successful completion of apprenticeship, into a number of potential roles.

Job Type: Apprenticeship

Salary: £14,285.00-£18,369.00 per year
