Job Description

We are a fast-growing software startup specialising in field service and job management solutions for service and trade businesses like plumbers, electricians, and maintenance professionals. Our software empowers these companies to efficiently handle their jobs, schedules, invoices, and field operations.

Currently, our focus is on the UK market, catering to customer sizes ranging from 2-10 staff members. As we aim to expand further, we are seeking a Business Development Manager to help us target the next level of customers with 10-50 staff members.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to identify target industries and address customer pain points.
  • Ensure our product offering aligns with the needs of the target customers.
  • Provide feedback to the product team on missing functionalities for improved market fit.
  • Generate leads through various channels and prioritise opportunities.
  • Establish relationships with key decision-makers and engage in consultative sales conversations.
  • Implement sales strategies, track progress, and report performance.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and provide market feedback.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success in B2B software sales or business development.
  • Excellent communication skills, self-motivation, and a results-driven mindset.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.
