We run a successful butchers, farm shop and cafe

We are looking for a Butcher, Assistant or Tainee to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in cutting, trimming, and preparing meat for sale. The successful candidate will also be responsible for stocking the display cases, providing customer service, and adhering to all food safety standards. The Butcher will be expected to maintain a clean and organized work area and provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Use sharp knives and other tools to cut, trim, and shape meat.
• Understand the different cuts of meat and how to prepare them.
• Weigh and package meats for customers.
• Operate machinery such as grinders, slicers, and saws.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and order new items when needed.
• Provide excellent customer service.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
