We are looking for a C# .NET Developer to join our Merchandising Systems team. This is a hybrid role based across our offices in Burton-On-Trent and Solihull and so the successful candidate should be comfortable working across both sites. You will also enjoy hybrid working.
About Waterstones
Waterstones is the UK and Ireland’s leading high street bookseller with around 300 bookshops, including Foyles, Hatchards, Hodges Figgis and Blackwell’s, with shops in Ireland, Brussels and Amsterdam. It’s the only national specialist book retailer of scale in the UK, with the average sized shop carrying a range of around 30,000 individual books and with over 200,000 titles in the largest shop. Most locations also sell greetings cards, stationery, and other related products. There are currently around 75 Café W’s trading in shops throughout the chain.
Waterstones have three head office locations; London Piccadilly (Buying & Operations, Waterstones.com), Solihull (I.T and Finance) and Burton-on-Trent (Warehouse, logistics and Customer Services).
About the Role
As C# .NET Developer you’ll work as part of the Merchandising Systems function; a team of developers and application support roles, delivering high-quality, reliable, and robust merchandising application solutions to the business.
The team is currently undertaking an exciting transformation in technology. As C# .NET Developer, you’ll play a pivotal role in the transition and successful delivery of those changes.
This role supports the buying team who are based in London Piccadilly.
