CAD Design Draughtsperson, Marine & Naval Projects Group

Mission:

The main focus will be supporting our CCTV Marine & Naval Projects group with new CAD designs, updates of existing system documentation and providing technical support to the manufacturing and sales teams. The position will involve the use of Autodesk Inventor / Vault / AutoCAD and Microsoft
Office packages in the design for manufacture of our products.

Challenges:

• Provide technical support to other engineers, project managers, manufacturing, and sales
• Good documentation that communicates good understanding
• Be a part of our team that strive to develop and improve on our product and system designs

Skills:

• Engineering, HNC, HND or BEng or equivalent technical experience
• Keen technical and manufacturing interest
• Competent in AutoCAD and use of 3D modeling software
• Experience of Autodesk Inventor and Vault desirable
• Experience of Document Management System desirable
• Abilities to work in team and to take initiatives independently
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience
• Awareness of construction of small assemblies
• Able to plan, prioritise and handle multiple tasks
