CAD TECHNICIAN

POSITION: CAD Technician

LOCATION: Commutable from Leamington Spa, Birmingham, Leicester, Coventry, Rugby, Northampton, Worcester, Stratford-Upon-Avon

SALARY: DOE + COMPANY PENSION SCHEME

THE ROLE: Our client are currently looking for a CAD Technician to join their team on full time permanent basis. As a CAD Technician, you will be assisting in the production of the final AutoCAD drawings from surveys conducted on site.

The successful candidate will understand surveying principles, experience of 2D CAD is essential and the use of 3D CAD and Revit would be beneficial but not essential.

DUTIES

• Assist other CAD Technicians and making sure that all drawings are complete and sent to meet tight deadlines
• Working alongside the Project Manager to ensure completion of jobs
• Managing your own workload and have all the relevant information from the briefs
• Ensuring all laptops and computers are up to date and in a safe and serviceable condition

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Have some understanding of surveying principles
• Experience of 2D CAD is essential
• Experience of 3D CAD or any similar packages such as 3D Point Cloud and REVIT would be beneficial.
• Use of Cyclone Register 360 would be beneficial
