We are now looking for a CAD Technician, to join our growing team and work as an integral part of our specialist manufacturing team based in Sheffield.
The role:
As CAD Technician, you will work within the Functional Foot Orthotics (FFO) Department to ensure customer orders are processed effectively to clinician/patient requirements.
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Interpreting customer orders to produce CAD EVA FFOs and Hard-shell Functional Foot Orthotics manufacturing.
- Scan casts and foot impression boxes (FIBs) to produce 3D data files.
- Manipulate 3D scanned data images using variety of modelling software systems.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement
What are we looking for?
As CAD Technician, you will have the following:
Essential skills:
- Knowledge of the anatomy and terminology associated with the production of orthotic products.
- Capable of working to drafts/casts and measures supplied by clinicians.
- Competent IT Skills
- Highly motivated
- Positive and proactive
- Excellent communication skills
- Good team working skills.
Desirable skills:
- Knowledge of orthotic CAD systems
