Cafe Assistant

We are looking for an enthusiastic cafe assistant to join our small team working in the marina cafe at Barton Marina, where customers come to relax and enjoy freshly prepared favourites for breakfast and lunch. We are situated on the Trent and Mersey Canal in the peaceful and beautiful surroundings of rural Staffordshire, near Barton- under-Needwood.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

· To meet and greet customers.

· To take orders, upselling where possible.

· To serve customers in a friendly and courteous manner.

· To prepare drinks and food.

· To provide a welcoming atmosphere for customers to relax and enjoy their visit.

· To operate the till system, including inputting orders and processing payments.

. To maintain a clean and tidy environment.

. Must have a flexible approach to working hours and days.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary contract, Zero hours contract
