Care Assistant

The role and key responsibilities are:

• Provide excellent standards of care in accordance with the national care standards policies and procedures.
• Document efficiently and effectively at all times.
• Assist residents with personal care and hygiene needs.
• Act as a key worker to a number of residents, providing friendship and supporting their needs and taking part in social activities.
• Accompany residents to hospital appointments.
• Show warmth and support to all our residents and their families, helping to promote independence and dignity to positively enhance the lives of our residents.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with relatives and stakeholders.
• Attend training as and when required.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

Desirable:

• SVQ 3
• SSSC Registered

You must be available to work shifts across 7 days including weekends.
