In order to get to know each other and build a meaningful relationship, our visits are a minimum of 1 hour long; no rushed visits and with enough time to reach your next client.

Weekend Care Professional Job Description:
As a Home Instead Dartford Weekend Care Pro you will play a pivotal role in the life of someone that you will come to know really well and build a relationship with. You'll aid with daily living, fun activities, offering support and company - as well as sharing wonderful moments and memories.

• Companionship when taking clients to appointments and social gatherings.
• Food and meal preparation, cooking and ensuring the client has a healthy diet.
• Collecting prescriptions, grocery shopping, and other errands.
• Perform modest housekeeping, such as laundry, ironing or help with cleaning and vacuuming
• Oversee medication reminders and prompts and offer medical support if needed.
• Assist clients in getting in and out of bed each morning and night.
• Running a shower or bath and staying nearby in case they require assistance.
• Assisting with clothing and undressing as well as personal care help as needed.

Credentials Needed for Care Pros

Be caring, warm-hearted and have a compassionate nature.

Be a great listener, observant, have a positive attitude and be passionate to help others.

Be open to learn and gain new knowledge or grow existing skills.

Be reliable, dependable, able to multitask, able to remain calm and keep a cool head.

Have a full driving license & access to a vehicle so you can provide care to our clients in their own homes across our area.

Have the Right To Work in the United Kingdom.

Have a good grasp of the English language.
