Care Assistant

We are a Domiciliary Care Agency in Stockport who provide high quality of care to people within their own homes. We have been established for over 21 years and currently provide care to the Stockport Borough.

We aim to recruit and train carers to the high standards required to deliver the care to those who need help or assistance at home.

No previous experience is required, as full training is provided throughout your employment.

As a care assistant you will be helping service users with various aspects of their daily life including:

• Companionship
• Personal care
• Assisting with meal and drink preparation
• Assisting with medication
• Light housework and support work
• Taking service users out to shopping trips, appointments and other outings such as for a walk to the park, for a coffee etc
• Other errands such as collecting prescriptions

We require carers in the following areas: Bramhall, Cheadle Hulme, Hazel Grove, Offerton, Marple, High Lane, Romiley, Bredbury and Woodley. You will stay in one area only; you will not be required to travel to all areas listed.

All applicants must be/have:

• Aged 18 or over
• Friendly, courteous and approachable
• Reliable and organised
• Good communication skills
• Able to work as a team

We have full, part time and weekend only positions available, between the hours of 07:00 – 21:30.

• Daytime shift 7am - 2pm
• Evening shift 3.30pm - 9.30pm
• You will also be required to work a weekend on/off

Your own car with a full UK driving license is highly desired but not essential.

Salary: £9.90 during weekdays and £10.25 on weekends. £11 per hour if you were to be employed for WEEKENDS ONLY
