THE POSITION :

As part of the UK Equity trading team within KCx, you will be responsible for the execution of client agency orders across all European exchanges. You will liaise with the US and Pan European sales trading team across the globe overseeing their orders and ensuring orders are handled professionally within compliance guidelines and applicable policies and procedures . The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, diligent with specific attention to detail. They will be a strong team member who is personable and professional at all times.
As the role is intra-day trading activities some days may be more stressful than others, and it is important that the candidate is able maintain a calm and analytical mindset, while also empathising with the other groups involved in a particular issue. The ideal candidate is someone who has worked in similar roles before. Excellent and responsive communication skills are a must. The UK Equity Trader reports directly to the UK Head Of Trading. The UK Equity Trader will be responsible for the execution of cash trades, proactive and reactive facilitation of orders on behalf of clients, and the day-to-day functions of the UK equity trading desk. The candidate must be detail oriented and work well within a team environment.

YOUR PROFILE & SKILLS:

Experience and Academics:

• 
  5+ years of equity trading experience at an institutional Broker-Dealer ;
• FCA registered, and all European regional exchanges ;
• Experienced in facilitation trading and risk management ;
• Advanced knowledge of European equities is essential along with knowledge of Foreign Exchange, and other securities products. ADR trading knowledge would be beneficial ;
• Strong client relationships would be beneficial ;
• Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills ;
• A team player who is client-focused, service-oriented and driven ;
• Solid understanding of the needs of institutional clients.
