Casual Guest Service Agent - Food and Beverage

pentahotel Birmingham is looking for a dedicated professional to join our friendly and well regarded Food and Beverage teams as a Casual Guest Service Agent. Our hotel provides a fun and relaxed space with service that is welcoming and personal. Whether it’s the hotel’s retro and relaxed ambiance, the casually dressed professional staff team or the games consoles being played in the lounge; this is a fun place to work and a fabulous place for guests to enjoy.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional people skills and enjoy working with busy and passionate staff, across all the food & beverage aspects of the business. You will be well presented, eager to exceed customer expectations and be able to deliver a warm and welcoming approach.

Ideally you will have experience in a hospitality or customer service environment.

Key responsibilities

• Dealing with guest enquiries
• Taking payments
• Serving food in our restaurant and drinks at the bars
• Working in conference and events
• Being proactive and taking the initiative to support team members
• Liaising with the kitchen, reception and the bar and with the appropriate departments to maintain a high quality service for our customers

Hours: variable (will include weekends and bank holidays)

Job Type: Zero hours contract

Salary: £10.50 per hour
