Casual Warehouse Operative

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Casual Warehouse Operative to join a very busy Distribution Centre based in Dartford.

As a Casual Warehouse Assistant you will be working both alone and as part of a team with efficiency and commitment to complete your role. Primarily including picking and packing of products which can involve a substantial amount of heavy lifting including bending, stretching, stooping, stepping, reaching.

Previous experience working within a fast-paced chilled fresh produce warehouse environment would be an advantage but not essential as full training would be provided.

Responsibilities:

· Receive stock into the breakdown area

· Ensure pallets are stacked correctly and safely

· Ensure Breakdown pallets meet customer specifications, including box end labelling pallets in accordance with instructions given

· Pallet tops or pallets must be used to reduce the risk of damage

· Maintain Warehouse Breakdown Area hygiene standards

• Pallet Truck Trained (preferable)

Working:

· Both Part Time and Full Time hours available hours

· Shifts over: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 11.00am to 20.00pm available

· Hours: 12am to 9pm (full time - any 5 days out of 7)

· Salary £10.42 p/h (Age23+)

• After Pallet Truck/Forklift Training hourly rate will be £10.92 plus over time £14.52

·Payment every 4 weeks
