Cathodic Protection Technician

The Saith family is growing! We're looking for a Cathodic Protection Technician with experience of Oil, Gas, Hydrogen or Water Sectors to join our Corrosion Engineering team.

You will be joining the business at part of a multidisciplinary team based all over the UK. This position provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced Cathodic Protection Technician who is looking to further develop their experience, knowledge, and responsibilities within the energy sector.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Conduct field testing of cathodic protection systems
• Perform minor remedial works to test points and Transformer Rectifiers
• Generate documents such as MTO's and Data sheets for input into Cathodic Protection designs
• Produce reports / test sheets for review by the Snr Engineer

We'd love to hear from you if you:

• Are Qualified to at least BS EN ISO 15257:2017 Level II on-land metallic structures
• Are SCO 1/2 & 91 Competent person and SHEA Gas qualified
• Have knowledge and experience of UK regulations pertaining to the Oil and Gas industry
• Are proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of applications

• Have good written and verbal communication skills
• Can work effectively with colleagues and with a professional approach to external clients
• Have an enquiring approach with a desire to explore innovative ideas
• Can work as part of a multi-disciplinary team

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 24 months

Salary: From £33,000.00 per year
