At Estabulo we prepare all of our dishes in an authentic manner to give you the true taste of Brazilian Rodizio. Estabulo honours the Brazilian Gaucho’s traditional method of cooking, this involves taking the most delicious and flavoursome cuts of meat, which are then skewered and cooked slowly on open flames.

This method of cooking also means that all the meat is served fresh to the customers table, straight from the grill. Our unlimited dining concept sees customers enjoy as much meat, fresh salads and sides as they like, at a set price. As well as our main menus, we also have a selection of Vegetarian, Halal and Fish dishes on offer.

Estabulo’s beautiful restaurant interior, and dedicated bar area which serves an array of gorgeous cocktails, makes it the perfect place to dine with friends, family or for a romantic date night. We are looking to recruit a Chef to join our friendly team in Doncaster.

Job purpose

As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing amazing food for our customers. Your duties will include cooking dishes unique to the restaurant and training and leading kitchen staff. You will maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Control and direct the food preparation process and any other relative activities
• Approving and polishing dishes before they leave the kitchen
• Determining food inventory needs, stocking and ordering
• Ultimately responsible for ensuring the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guidelines
• Being responsible for health and safety
• Being responsible for food hygiene practices

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Chef is preferred, but not necessary, as full training will be provided
• Ability in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress
• Outstanding communication and leadership skills
• Credentials in health and safety training

Contract type: Zero-hour contract

Reports to: Shift Manager

Job Type: Zero hours contract

Salary: £9.50-£11.00 per hour
