BACKGROUND
Carterhatch House is an Ofsted Registered three-bed Children’s Residential Care Home which is renovated and furnished to a high standard. We launched in March 2022 and have quickly taken on placements. Our aim is to provide a safe, secure, nurturing ‘family home’ to help vulnerable children and young people progress and achieve the best outcomes across all aspects of their lives. This will be a highly therapeutic residential setting with one-to-one staffing ratios.
The team in Carterhatch House work as a ‘good family’ in each child’s life. We provide exceptional one-to-one care alongside tailored therapy programmes for each child, integrated with strong partnership working with the relevant statutory and community providers/organisations, to deliver care and support which meets the holistic needs of the children and young people. We also support and encourage each other through the challenges and rewards that come with helping vulnerable young people back on to their feet.
Carterhatch House is a project of Foster Care Link, an Ofsted Outstanding fostering agency with a 18 year track record in delivering excellent outcomes for children and young people on behalf of over seventy Local Authorities.
