This position is for SRC Community nursery, Walworth, London

SRC Community Nursery has over 39 years of experience in providing high standards of education and care to children aged 6 months to 5 years. We support children to have fun, make friends and learn in a safe and welcoming environment.

The main responsibilities of this job role will include:

• Working towards Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship.
• Supporting the development of the childcare provision.
• Providing an excellent range of activities that ensures that the child learns whilst having fun.
• Being a team player.
• Providing challenging and stimulating activities for all children
• Taking part in First Aid training as required
• Working with teams across the nursery setting
• Supporting children’s learning and development.
• Preparing and maintaining the environment and resources for the children. Preparation of food for breakfast, snack and afternoon tea.
• Supporting children’s self-help needs.
• Being creative and enthusiastic.
• Following Safeguarding rules and regulations to also meet the Standard of the Childcare Apprenticeship.

In addition to on-the-job training, you will receive support from an assessor and mentor throughout your apprenticeship, and your classroom days will be based online.

Upon successful completion of your apprenticeship, you will receive a Level 3 NVQ - Advanced Diploma Early Years Educator, and may even be eligible for 30% off your Oyster Card!

This is a full-time 30 hour a week position with a starting salary of £8,236.80 a year!
