Civil Supervisor

Glenevin Construction Ltd has been developing and maintaining infrastructure across the UK since our formation in 2013. We specialise in Utilities (Power, Telecoms, etc), Civil Engineering, Traffic Management, and infrastructure. We have grown our business on a foundation of expertise, teamwork, and excellent customer service.

We are looking to recruit for the below positions for works on our R100 contract in Aberdeen.

You must be a resident in the UK at the time of this advertisement and hold necessary paperwork to prove this.

Job Description

As Civil Supervisor you will be responsible for:

• 
  Managing gangs, delegating the tasks for the day.
• Liaising and giving daily updates with back-office support (noticing etc)
• Defect coordination with back-office team
• Drive quality and production out on site - ensure work is being constructed to quality specification
• A keen focus on health and safety compliance out on site
• SLG compliance
• Attend and participate in daily site meetings
• Be commercially aware – identify early warnings; with evidence, submit to company early warning mailbox
• Meet specifications
• submit whereabouts for next day, submit tar measures and complete daily measure and snagg work for each gang.
• Fulfill weekly tasks (weekly audits - every gang needs 1 audit per week minimum)
• Incident reporting (being reactive, reporting strikes to Health and Safety as per process. Report and cooperate to investigations on any accidents or incidents that have occurred)
• Plan and allocate resources (Grab and runners)
• Use of MIS
• Overtime where required
• Conform with all company policies.
