Class 1 Driver Sheffield OUTOKUMPU

We’re looking for a full-time, permanent Class 1 HGV Driver to join us at our customer's site in Sheffield. Testament to the nature of the job is most of our drivers have over 10 years’ service and will intend to stay here until they retire.

You’ll be working on our contract for Outokumpu Stainless performing deliveries and collections of stainless steel across the country to regular delivery points. You’ll be working 40 hours minimum (plus overtime) per week, Monday to Friday, with AM starts (04:30 – 13:30) and nights out, as and when required.

You will have your own dedicated vehicle and it will be loaded overnight for the next day’s work.

  £12.04 per hour plus an extra £1.75 Per Hr subsistence allowance and Nights out paid at £26.65

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• 
  Making multi drops to locations across the country.
• Performing collections and returning to the depot.
• There is no manual handling of products.
• No bank holidays/no weekends work

What you need to succeed at XPO:

• 
  We’ll need you to have a full UK driving licence (with C entitlement)
• You’ll have no more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements
• A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card
• Excellent knowledge of the UK road network
