CLASS 1 NIGHT HUB TRUNK DRIVER

NEWCASTLE AREA

19:00 START MONDAY TO FRIDAY NIGHTS

Our Client offers a quality assured road transport and palletised distribution service to clients thoughout the United Kingdom. They deliver the best customer service and are looking for a Class 1 (C+E) Driver to trunk palletised freight to their regional pallet network hub.

The role will be to complete pallet network trunking and other night delivery duties:-

• The completion of daily vehicle checks, and the reporting of defects, as applicable.
• Liaison with customers/hub staff in a polite and professional manner.
• Working in accordance with Drivers Hours Regulations, the Company’s Operating Procedures and Health & Safety requirements.
• Fluent English required
• Up to date driver CPC required

Our pay structure for this role is £15 per hour for all hours worked.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 6-12 months
Part-time hours: 30-60 per week

Salary: £16.00-£20.00 per hour

Experience:

• Driving a Goods Vehicle: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:
