Job description:

Estabulo Rodizio Bar & Grill is a fast paced business with restaurants located across England. We are looking to recruit a cleaner to join our friendly team in York.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, enthusiastic person who has a real passion for cleaning.

Job Purpose:

As a cleaner, you will be cleaning our restaurant daily. Your duties will include sweeping and mopping floors, dusting work surfaces, removing cobwebs, replacing empty supplies, emptying the bins and keeping the environment tidy.

Key responsibilities:

• Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming and mopping surfaces in restaurant areas, bathrooms, kitchens and supply closets
• Refilling and restocking cleaning supplies and toiletries (hand wash, toilet paper, paper towels)
• Washing kitchen napkins, floor rags and dusters
• Maintaining cleaning products and informing the general manager when new supplies are needed
• Taking out the garbage
• Carrying out minor maintenance tasks such as unclogging sinks
• Conducting monthly disinfection and deep cleaning
• Maintaining Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDSs) and compliance with universal precautions.

Reports to: Shift Manager

Salary: Up to £10.42 per hour
