Cleaner (Part-time)

Job Description

We are currently looking to appoint a Cleaner to carry out cleaning duties at Ardene House Vets Hospital in Kingswells, Aberdeen.

There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.

The shift pattern if flexible and can be discussed at interview stage.

Role Responsibility

• Complete as cleaning tasks as agreed with Management
• Comply to all policies / procedures in relation to housekeeping / infection control / security
• Ensure that all requirements in relation to COSHH are adhered to
• Ensure that all requirements of the specified cleaning areas, are carried out
• To report all faults in relation to cleaning machinery/equipment to the manager
• To carry out any reasonable request, as specified by manager
• Comply with all Company and Client policies and procedures,
• Complete all records as directed accurately and in timely manner
• Report any incidents of accident, fire, theft, loss, damage, or other irregularities to line manager, taking appropriate action where possible
• Any other reasonable request by management

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience of working in a healthcare facility.
• Able to communicate on all levels, excellent customer care skills
• Knowledge of Health and safety
• Cleaning experience
• Previous experience of working in a similar service environment via or within prestige environments with a strong focus on customer service
• Relevant training, qualifications and experience to deliver services in line with legislative and statutory requirements (where relevant) and industry best practice
