CNC Machinist/Programmer

Contract: Full-time, permanent.

Salary: Competitive; to be confirmed at interview, subject to qualifications and experience.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm, Friday 8am to 2pm with breaks.

We are looking for a CNC programmer/operator to work a 40 hour week, in our modern workshop with new machines, as part of a small team of craftsmen in a friendly, long-established business in Weyhill, making world-leading, niche market products.

Training on specific machines/software is available for a suitable candidate with exceptional CNC programming and at least 5 years experience.

• CAM (OneCNC or similar)
• AXYZ CNC Router + VCarve Pro Software
• XYZ 500LR VMC CNC Mill (Siemens 828D Control)
• XYZ CT65LTY CNC Turning Centre with Live Tooling (Siemens 828D ShopTurn Control)
• CAD (Siemens NX, Fusion 360, Onshape or similar)

Training on specific machines/software is available for a suitable candidate.

Required Skills:

• 2+ years experience turning, milling
• Routing experience preferred
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well as a team
• Ability to handle varied duties
• Ability to work under pressure
• Willing to learn

We are looking for a worker within commuting distance of the factory. There is ample on-site parking available.
