Coffee Shop Assistant

We are looking for friendly, flexible and reliable staff to join our team.

Must be able to work well in a fast paced coffee shop environment whilst providing an efficient service with a smile.
Duties include, waiting tables, kitchen duties, food and drinks preparation to a high standard, cash handling, taking orders and using the till.
General housekeeping and deep cleaning duties.

Applicants need to be flexible to work shifts which are variable from Monday-Saturday between 8.00am and 6pm.

Must have excellent communication and customer service skills and the ability to prioritise duties.
Must have the ability to work well as part of the team.
Experience of working within a coffee shop/retail environment is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
Good knowledge of Health and Safety and Food Safety processes desirable.
Food Hygiene Certificate desirable.
Barista experience desirable.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: £7.00-£9.50 per hour
