Grounded (Livermore) is a neighborhood coffee shop that's focused on accentuating the community. Our coffee and pastries are all locally sourced, and easily approachable. Our distinction is fair and comfortable - the type of place you'd visit on a Tuesday afternoon.

Blessed to be located on one of the busiest intersections in the wonderful town of Livermore, we strive to showcase all the wonderful goods our town has to offer. Our motto is "everybody eats" because our community grows our business and our business grows our community.

We're looking for a friendly, outgoing individual who is equally passionate about coffee and community. For the right individual(s), this opportunity is more than a job, it's helping create an experience in a rapidly expanding (and diversifying) community.

The role will be very hands-on. Past experience as a manager or supervisor is required. Knowledge of coffee, espresso, and teas (along with the accompanying equipment) is a huge plus. The desire to run your own shop one day would be icing on the cake.

Responsibilities:

• Set the tone for the shop
• Lead and mentor fellow (aspiring) baristas
• Manage and upkeep the customer's experience and environment
• Run day-to-day operations including maintaining inventory and sales records
• Develop/manage operational processes, including routines around opening, midday, and closing functions
• Support in the creation of staff development programs
• Be an "owner in training"

Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in food/coffee service, management/leadership experience is preferred.

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
