Collections Agent

Salary £25,000 - £27,000 DOE, plus bonus, incentives OTE £35k - £40k

Oldham, Greater Manchester.

We have teamed up with an established, highly regarded Insolvency Practice based in the Oldham area. Due to continued growth and success, they are seeking a skilled Collections Agent / Debt Collections Agent / Credit Control to join them on a permanent, full-time basis.

As an experienced credit controller (debt collector, collections, collections agent) you will be a part of a busy & diverse team who work with end customers to arrange suitable repayment plans to suit all parties. This role will involve working with those who have/are struggling with financial commitments, so a empathetic ear along with an ability to collect the required payments is critical.

With your previous skills and experience, a typical day would involve the collection of payment / debt arrears, work with the customer (empathy) to understand their current financial circumstances, negotiate fair and affordable payment plans in line with the FCA & TCF regulations.
